Hailing from Nova Scotia, Scott Hicks has been practicing in the area of civil litigation since he joined Hartshorne & Mehl in 2015. From 2008 until 2015, he acted as Patient Advocate for clients suffering Mental Illness at hundreds of administrative tribunal hearings.

Scott has extensive experience with and a practice of complex personal injury cases, underinsured motorist protection insurance, administrative law, and criminal defence. In addition to his appearance in the Court of British Columbia, during his time with Nova Scotia Legal Aid, he appeared before the Provincial Court and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.

Scott is dedicated to advocacy and taking a rigorous yet creative approach to achieving the best results for his clients.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys cycling, weight training, hiking, creative writing, and hanging with his friends and cats Finn and Simon.
