Jun Xu is a versatile associate lawyer specializing in insurance defence and family law at Hartshorne & Mehl. He brings a wealth of experience from representing clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and excels in navigating the complexities of litigation and family disputes.

 

Jun earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Queen’s University and his Juris Doctor, with a Business Law Concentration, from the University of British Columbia. Called to the bar in 2022, Jun began his legal career articling at a boutique litigation firm in Vancouver, focusing on personal injury cases for plaintiffs.

 

Jun’s passion for family law stems from his desire to help clients resolve complex issues with a pragmatic and sensible approach. He is known for his ability to achieve timely and effective resolutions, leveraging his cross-cultural insights and international experience to address cross-border legal matters. Jun is fluent in Mandarin, with basic proficiency in Cantonese and Japanese.

 

Outside the office, Jun channels his creativity into culinary adventures, cosplaying, and immersing in Dungeons & Dragons. He is an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
