Mark joined Hartshorne & Mehl in 2025 after spending two years at a boutique insurance defence firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University and earned his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. Mark was called to the bar in 2022 following his articles with the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic.

He approaches litigation with a focus on strategy, efficiency, and results. Mark balances practical resolution with strong advocacy, ensuring each case is handled with clarity, preparation, and a commitment to achieving his clients’ goals.

Outside the office, Mark enjoys golfing, hiking with his wife, and training for marathons and ultramarathons. He is also active in the community, co-hosting two annual charity golf tournaments in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
